Description:

Galaxy Summer Camp invites rising 9th and 10th grade Michigan students to explore the thrilling world of aerospace engineering at the nation’s first collegiate aeronautics program. Hosted at the University of Michigan and powered by a dynamic partnership with DAPCEP, this immersive, hands-on experience introduces students to the science, technology, and innovation behind space exploration and flight.

Campers dive into real engineering challenges—like designing Mars rovers—while gaining exposure to cutting-edge labs, faculty research, and the collaborative spirit of Michigan Engineering. Beyond technical learning, participants engage with EO101 sessions that build the essential academic and personal skills needed for long-term success in STEM. Through mentorship, campus exploration, and meaningful projects, this camp helps young innovators find their path among the stars.

This camp has a cost of $75, but there is financial aid available for families that qualify.
